The desiccant was connected to a three-way valve, and a flow rate regulator could adjust the relative humidity of the air before passing the desiccant. CC was used to create the desired CO2 concentration in the CH. MFC controlled the flow rate of CO2-free air from AC and pure CO2 from CC. MBT was used for agitation of CO2-free air and pure CO2 air by air flow rate. MFM was used to check and control the airflow rate entering the chambers
