Classification of healthy tissue and tissue expressing necrotic lesions as response to powdery mildew infection at the resistant barley cultivar Irina 2 days after inoculation. False color pictures show the spatial distribution of necrotic lesions over the Mini-Plots of both control and inoculated plants. Additionally, the percentage of total pixels in the image being classified as showing tissue with HR for both plots is shown as bar diagram. The inoculated plot shows a significantly increased number of pixels, which are classified as expressing necrotic lesions
