Effect of ultrasounds on the germination percentage of seeds of A. thaliana (Col-0) and on the same seeds that have been artificially aged. Artificial ageing treatment consisted in 4 days at 40 °C and 100% relative humidity (Col-0 aged). 30 seeds were subjected to 45 kHz sonication at 24 °C during the indicated periods of time. Each point shows a mean of ten independent samples. Vertical bars indicate standard error. Asterisks indicate significant differences respect to the control (the corresponding ultrasound untreated seeds) according to the t test (p < 0.05)
