Comparison of RNA extracted from dissected and popped siliques. The RNA Integrity Number (RIN) is a measure of RNA degradation to estimate RNA quality for gene expression analysis as measured by an Agilent 2100 bioanalyzer. RIN ranges from 10 (totally intact) to 1 (totally degraded) . A RIN of at least 8 indicates high quality RNA suitable for RNAseq or other analyses. Whisker box plot with four replicates.
