Reciprocal crosses were made between diploid and tetraploid Col-0 plants causing a genomic imbalance in the endosperm causing alterations in seed size depending on the direction of the cross. Seeds were measured from the crosses and each measurement was divided by the mean of the balanced cross (2×2×) and plotted on a box and whisker diagram (circles = outliers > 1.5 IQR from median).Back to article page
