  1. The lesion length measurements are from the three earliest time points of lesion rating [3, 6 and 9 days after inoculation (DAI)]. Due to the destructive nature of data collection individual lesion progression could not be tracked past the date of imaging. Because of the destructive nature as well as variability in samples, and the expected trend of lesion length increasing over time is not always observed
