Two views of parastichy spirals from synthetic data. A set of 40 nodes, generated by the golden angle and constant rise (\(r=1\)). In the centric form, parastichies are spiral arms emanate from the origin and in the cylindrical form, parastichies are helices in a cylindrical lattice, called the Bravais lattice. In the Bravais lattice, the \(\theta = 0\) and \(\theta =2\pi\) rays are the same, allowing the parastichies to “wrap around” the circumference of the plant
