Time-resolved stomatal conductance analysis of the same leaves before and after the cut of the petioles. The same three leaves from three plants were evaluated before (in intact plants) and after the cut of their petioles. Time resolved steady-state stomatal conductance was measured after 70 min of insertion of the leaves into a gas exchange analyzer chamber. N = 3 leaves per condition ± SD
