Test for the presence of microorganisms in the nutrient solution. Samples of the nutrient solution were cultured on PDA and LB plates for 3 days at different temperatures to test for the presence of microorganisms. A positive control consisting of a nutrient solution bubbled with non-sterilised air was utilised.
