Solutions are listed in the order in which they are added for assaying total-soluble, water-soluble or insoluble (or total) condensed tannins. Respective volumes used are also listed to clarify changes in concentrations. All listed ratios represent v/v and concentrated HCl (~12 N). The iron reagent was 2% w/v NH4Fe(SO4)2 and H2O in 2 N HCl
