Experimental procedures for extraction and derivatization of auxin and auxin precursors. Tissue homogenization and addition of internal standards corresponds to Steps 2–3. Each homogenized sample is split into two aliquots. (A) Extraction and derivatization of indole-3-pyruvic acid (IPyA). Corresponds to Steps 4–23 and Step 67.
