Automatic classification of powdery mildew on sugar beet leaves using spectral angle mapper (SAM) algorithm. The three classes 'healthy' (green), 'light mycelium' of powdery mildew (yellow), and 'dense mycelium' of powdery mildew (red) were separated at different disease severity stages with a maximum angle threshold of 0.1°.
