Changes in frequency of methylcytosine in CaMV 35S promoter as a consequence of treatment of N. benthamiana plants with genistein. For both control and genistein-treated plants, 17 clones were sequenced. Representative data of the analysis of DNAs isolated from a single control plant and three genistein-treated plants are shown.
