(b) Fluorescence in systemically-infected leaves of N. benthamiana plants agroinfiltrated with pBPep505. Plants were photographed under illumination with a handheld UV lamp at 7 dpi. (c) Northern blot of total RNA from leaf tissues hybridized with a CP-specific RNA probe to determine Pep505 stability. Total RNA was prepared from agroinfiltrated (IN) and systemically-infected (SYS) leaves at 7 and 10 dpi. The band corresponding to the CP-GFP sgRNA is marked with star.
