The three-dimensional image was constructed using Imaris™ (beta) 3.0, based on stacked images captured with Zeiss LSM 510. Excitation and emission wavelengths were 488 nm (43%) and >505 nm, respectively. Bar = 10 μm. Note the presence of two collecting cells (cc) in (A) which are lacking in the isolated salt gland (B).
