(b) Leaf nicotine levels in plants infected with TRV-NbPMT constructs as determined by HPLC. Buffer control plants received infiltration buffer only and TRV-GFP plants were infected with TRV containing a non-functional 363 bp GFP insert. Bars represent mean ± SD (n = 4).
